No place to run - Maya Banks - Review

NO PLACE TO RUN: Sam Kelly and Sophie Lundgren

The second instalment of KGI Novels - Once again the Kelly family comes to the rescue, pulling all the elements of passion, survival, suspicion, turns and twist wrapped in good old action and bad guys.

Pulling a wounded Sophie from the lake outside of his home was the last thing anyone would expect lest of all Sam. Not only that, is she with child, Sam's child. Ok that would make anyone day a little off, but a warning, to Sam that he's the one in danger.

From the get-go the pages start with enough heat to start your own sauna. Sam is the oldest of the Kelly clan. Who no matter his age, as managed to get Sophie pregnant while undercover....or was it her, that was undercover...ummm...”Snap or is it Fish?”

I love the pace of this book, once again characters outside of the Kelly’s insure that the book has some of those add twists. Ma Kelly gets the best line “Get in there and get my grandchild!”. You can image the hand hitting the back of the head with that one.

No place to run, has been well thought out plot luring you in one direction only to yank you in another. While creating a standalone book with hints of future ones. It was better than the first one and I liked the first one. And once again that cover.....yummy...

Fasted paced that it will leave you nicely satisfied -
