THE DARKEST HOUR - KGI Novel - Review

The KGI (Kelly Group International) Novels:

This group of novels was my introduction to Maya Banks, and what and introduction!!
I love the look of these books at a glance the covers leave you mouth watering for more (thats before you've even read the back). Its based on a family of six brothers and the men they lead, each seem to have a no holds barred James Bond appeal, that resonates with readers.

The Darkest Hour:  Ethan Kelly and Rachel

Ethan is a man that a times you want to get hold of his neck and wring it.
He has trouble voicing his feelings (what man doesn't!!) Ethan is a dark brewing soul that is lost in his own little world.

Rachel was kidnapped while returning home, and presume dead by her husband. She is a little too helpless for my liking but a likable character who gets stronger throughout the book.

KGI ops team members Rio, Steele, PJ, added an extra layer of fun without overwhelming it. Rusty brought balance to the goody two shoes family with her off the wall problem teenage remarks.

An enjoyable read to curl up with - REVIEW RATING -- 2 Mango Margaritas
