LIVE WIRE - REVIEW

BEWARED: Lora Leigh books have known side effects –Increased heart rate, a fever that leaves you hot and bothered.........read them with extreme caution......

Live Wire book six in Lora Leigh’s Elite Ops series.

Jordan Malone and Tehya Talamosi

If you have followed the series you’ll know all about the Soldiers. But for those of you who are new to this series the Elite Ops is an underground agency of dead men walking with new names, and lives committed to the Elite Ops. And as always sometimes you cannot bury what you left behind.....

Captain Jordan Malone team is disassembling, their contracts are up and they are free to live normal life’s. He is a man that does not believe in true love,(well, he’s convinced himself or tries to) I find this a little hard to believe at times.

Tehya Talamosi, has been running from her father ever since her mother took her and fled when she was five. She managed to have a semi normal life as an operative this changes as the team is disassembled.  She takes a gamble on the burning passion between herself and Jordan, only to find that she has to walk away from the only man she ever loved. She will have to build a life on her own and as danger creeps towards her.

I found Jordan is that superb Alpha male all the way fighting his feelings tooth and nail. While Tehya is a combination of total insecurity and Amazon woman, as she faces the danger that has resurfaced after years of desperately evading it. Together Jordan and Tehya fight to save those they care about while working their way through their own feelings.

Lora Leigh has that great mix of action with an erotic push pull relationship we all love to read into the wee hours of the morning leaving us with the above major side effects among others. With each of the books in this series it can be read as a standalone book if you haven’t read the series.
