LAWE'S JUSTICE - Review

Lawe's Justice
Lora Leigh

This is the 26th book in the Breed Series. Law Justice and Diane Broen (sister of Racheal - Lion's Heat)

Diane Broen is a warrior who lives to protect. Lawe a Lion Breed.

Lawe wants a mate that will stay home and safe, but when it comes to Diana she is everything but the stay at home type.

Diane Broen is a great Amazon Warrior woman secure in her own abilities. She commands a small team, that do various missions for the Breeds. I liked her from the off. She takes no shit from anyone including her mate.

As for Lawe he's a breed I have always liked, but I found him unrealistic in this book. It was a part of him we had not been shown. And I found it a little out there at times because it didn't match up to what we know of him.

This book is part of a collection that is plot is based around the rogue breed Gideon, that is look for the same two women the breeds are. Although not for the same reasons that the breeds are. So at times the emphasis of this installment seem to be based less on the romance and relationship of Lawe and Diane. Which left me a feeling it was not as good as some of the previous books (the romance). But the cliffhanger that Lora leaves us with, means in terms of the ongoing story I am so deeply invested, I can not wait for the next one to find out what happens.

Note:
I am a huge fan of this series!!
But once again it is full of spelling and grammatical errors. This is the third book I've read of late in this series that have been full of these types of errors in final form and I expected this book to be different, due to the huge amount of errors in "Navarro's Promise".

Maybe someone can explain why Maya Banks also a well known and well-loved author latest book - Whispers in the Dark - has none that I could find. While Lora Leigh has not seen fit to fix this problem with her editing.

I along with many others, are so invested into this series. That it makes it easy to overlook the errors. But we need to find away to make both publishers and authors more accountable for the quality of their product, or we will just keep getting brushed off.

New Year - Update

I hope you have all had some kind of break and a wee bit of fun in the sun over Christmas and the New Year holiday season! I know that the fun in the sun part has been very weather permitting! Oh well let’s all put it out there for continued fine weather over the next few months!

Well…over the last few months I not have managed to get onto the blog as offen as I would have liked.

But the kids are heading back to school next week....Yeah.. And although the Christmas break was fantastic I am looking forward to get back into a routine.

Just a word of warning, new cell phones and auto correct are a spectacular way to let your family and friends rolling around on the ground at your expense.

Ok, what's new well we have lingerie to warm any cool nights you may be have, or just to spice up your nightlife.

There will be more reviews - monthly drinks - mad tit bits (to add a smile to your day) - and more sizzling stories from a great range of authors...

So we'll chat soon........

Status Update - Nalini Singh

Status Update
By Nalini Singh
I've started working on Archangel's Storm - Jason is a fascinating hero. Difficult to get to know, but with such an intensity to him that I know when the walls do come down, it'll be explosive.

I'm seeing lots of "best of" lists around the interwebs at the moment. I've posted about most of my favorite reads on the blog through the year, but what about yours? Which books did you most enjoy in 2011?

My favorite "find" of 2011 was the Liaden series by Sharon Lee & Steven Miller.
